The 2015-17 ICC World Cricket League Championship originally the Intercontinental Cup One-Day is the second edition of a limited-overs version of the ICC Intercontinental Cup. It will run from 2015 until 2017 in parallel with the 2015-17 ICC Intercontinental Cup. Ireland and Afghanistan will not compete in the tournament as both of them have been made eligible to qualify for the 2019 World Cup directly via rankings.

Instead Kenya and Nepal have been included in the tournament. The winner of this tournament will play a challenge series against lower ranked team in the 12-team rankings table for promotion in the next cycle. Top four teams will join bottom ranked four teams in ICC ODI Championship as on September 2017 in 2018 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier whereas bottom four teams will be relegated to Division Two and play with finalists of Division Three for the remaining two spots in 2018 CWC Qualifier.

The tournament will comprise a round-robin format. Matches between teams with ODI status will be recorded as an ODI game whereas matches in which one or both the teams without ODI status will be recorded as a List A game.
