Shakil Sheikh, a member Governing Body, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), recently recommended the Government to decorate Younis Khan Pakistan Cricket Player with highest civil award for breaking Javed Miandad’s (a former Cricket Player) record of most Test runs for the Pakistan country. Younis has achieved this record in opening of first Test against England in Abu Dhabi Tuesday 13 October 2015.

Younis Khan Test Career Achievement:

He has 30 centuries and scored highest number of hundreds for the Pakistan. Sheikh said “Younis Khan should be awarded with highest civil award of Pakistan. He now deserves it more than anyone else. His most career winning point is that under his captaincy Pakistan Cricket Team not only won World Cup T20 but he also has achieved other batting landmarks”.

“I don’t know if I had not scored those 177 runs in the 4th innings of the third test in Sri Lanka then what would have happened that time. Most probably I would have been dropped from Team”.

Younis having scored 29 Test centuries, he is also the highest century scorer for Pakistan Cricket Team. Younis Khan has also scored a triple century & four double centuries in the Test matches of the cricket.

He is also the highest scorer of Test runs in the Test Career as he crossed most cricketing legends of Pakistan; Javed Miandad and Inzimam-ul-Haq.
